Nicholson Baker has an interesting essay in the New York Review of Books about the politics of Wikipedia — its creation, additions, deletions, defacement, and preservation efforts. It amazes me that Wikipedia has only been around eight years and has yet flourisehd, sending a million tiny shocks through the world of academia, pop culture, and information management.
